Training providers
Completion of the training is not a requirement for participation in the ISTQB® exam. Options for preparing for the exam include self-study or attending non-accredited training.
Another option is to participate in accredited training. CaSTB ensures that Accredited Training Providers use acceptable practices, it means their materials are conform with the current syllabi for particular certification level and trainers have relevant experience and skills in both software testing and training. Accreditation is conducted for both certification scheme levels, i.e. ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) as well as ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level (CTAL).
