We are very pleased and proud to announce that we have boosted our team with the addition of two new colleagues. Tereza Kuco (former Duroňová) and Pavel Herout have joined the Czech and Slovak Testing Board as regular members in October 2017.
Tereza works as a Test Manager and Team Lead at tesena and last few months she drives the [pro]Test! community in Prague.
Pavel is a lecturer at University of West Bohemia, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the author of famous books such as Učebnice jazyka C or Učebnice jazyka Java and last but not least Testing for developers.
This also means that we are strengthening Marketing, Academia initiatives as well as the Translation CZ Working Group.

Starting with the winter semester of 2017 the selected best students of the software testing subjects organized by the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague will be offered to take the ISTQB certification exam for free. This program applies to both ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level and the ISTQB Foundation Level Agile Tester extension. This offer is donated by the Czech and Slovak Testing Board (CaSTB).
The pilot is performed for the software testing courses lectured by Miroslav Bures. The aim of this activity is to support professional education of software testers, encourage and support students interested in the software testing discipline and also trigger potential cooperation between university and industrial partners. All of these support the ISTQB goal: advancing the profession of software testing both, globally and in the individual regions.
